Bit late and may not have been possible or wanted, but had they turned the pitch the other way, could they have build a big stand each side (where end terraces are now), had low terrace where the far terrace is now, and nothing at other end where Whitewater is?

Quick one that I’ve been wondering, is there going to be work done on extending the terraces throughout this redevelopment? I haven’t actually seen as much in any of the plans, but don’t understand how a 3,000 seater stand can increase a capacity by 7,000 so assume there must be? I’d love to see the town stand extended to the ground perhaps and brought over to where the old dressing rooms used to be and terrace across from the stand brought out to the scoreboard.. does anyone know if anything like that is on the cards?

Its the fact that the Kilcullen End terrace will be done with a knock and rebuild or just simply with new barriers that allow a greater capacity. That end is getting work on it anyhow, which contributes to the increase to 15,000. Someone else on here might know exactly what work is being done in that end.
