Time to finish the job.

Any update on Eoin Doyle? Straight swap with Shea Ryan if he's out or bring in Peter Kelly and push Mick O'Grady forward? I wouldn't go moving Fergal Conway from the half forward line. He's playing great football at the moment.

If Doyle is injured, I would bring Shea straight in, try to keep the disruption to an absolute minimum.

We should beat Clare but I probably said that before last years league final!

I think we all though last year that because it was Clare we still had the right to win, but this year we know we need to turn up.
The optimism is great and the players seem to be much more positive. Roli is a great man on the line too.
Get a good crowd in and go at Clare and we have the players to do them. Plus Gary Brennan can't be at 100% with his long season so our midfield should drive us on again.

Things are working well and the natural notion would be to have Conway and Cribbin swapped, but it is working well. Conway is really throwing himself around and Keith will die with his boots on.
Fair play to management on getting the best from each man.
Still plenty left and the best thing is that other lads step up when needs be.

Ireland to beat Wales on Friday and then we beat Clare on Sunday please! cheers

Let's go at them like we have every other team we have played. We should not be caught out like last year in Croke Park as we know what they can do. We are at home and need to put them under pressure from the word go. Let's put the promotion to bed and take out any necessary tension in Galway.

If our injuries clear up we should have far to much for them.
Gary Brennan is their star man but he must be running on empty with his club Hurling commitments.

Sunday can't come quickly enough.

Fully agree Rex we need to keep on doing what we've been doing to date. And what's more should we finish the job on Sunday we need to go with that same mindset to Galway. Winning matches cannot be underestimated at this stage of this teams development

Yes excellent news about Doyle - So crucial to our improvement and success this season. Fingers crossed Slattery makes a full recovery too quickly. He was the game changer Saturday night.

Well done to all involved on Saturday night. The improvement in skill level and decision making has been outstanding.

Listening to Cian O'Neill interview after the match he seemed to suggest that Chris Healy wasn't way off being ready against Down so you'd hope with a weeks rehab he might be good to go

Would be a huge loss to have no slattery healy n flynn and mccormack out for sunday. No team would bar maybe Dublin would have the strength in depth after losing their 4 top corner forwards atm. Fingers crossed Healy or Slattery would be around. Is Mccormack a certain to miss it?

For all we know maybe some were invited in and declined for one reason or another.. like other posters have previously stated, the commitment level that's required isn't for everyone, and most fellas who have played minor and u21 will know what it's about and then some.

Ciaran Kelly and Brian McLoughlin are doing their Leaving Cert and neither were on the u21 panel. Likewise Matthew Kelly. Jack Robinson didn't even start for the u21s.

Matthew Kelly is in college in the West of Ireland. We pretty much have the best players that can commit on the panel. Top of the league and people want to add to the squad, I think the current squad are doing well enough somehow.
