| Lads what a win, incredible stuff was ridiculous at the end there...Hyland, McCloughlin and Masterson are something else...Players played their heart out...What a start to the weekend hope we can keep it going...Bet the Dubs and Kerry we can't let this go...Hon the Lilies | |

| Christ, well something serious to take from that travesty of a last 10-minutes going forward. And that's a good thing, learn and don't replicate. Also in terms of perspective, Kerry's best at that age are playing senior, but just mentioning all that to keep lid on top of what is a great, great group and that manager I love. Thrilled here. Just our seventh post-war All Ireland final across the three age groups I think and none won since 1965. | |

| The work being done in the county at club and development squad level can't be underestimated. Today's semi final is the culmination of those 5 or 6 years where we've dominated Leinster up to minor. Huge credit to the people who drive the development squads in Kildare. Starting to produce real athletes who are also fantastic footballers. Can't believe we reduced that Kerry team to all put attack in those final minutes trying to chase goals to get back in touch. Incredible | |

| This summer just gets better and better!!
Outstanding performances from so many of those players. Went through the wringer in those last 10 minutes but to hang on in there and come out on top says so much about this team and the management.
An All-Ireland Final to look forward to on the bank holiday weekend!

| Final scheduled for the 5th of August at 13:15 which unfortunately means it may be the curtain raiser to the Dublin v Roscommon match which is scheduled for 15:30 in Croke Park.
With the seniors away in Kerry the night before surely that won't be it?

| When was the last time Dublin didn't have a f**ing warm-u game to try and drag them in. Anyway, likely for another thread. As I say, very proud few weeks. Have we since 60s had a forward like Hyland? | |

Do you mean have Kildare or the country as a whole? The man is a pure natural

| Might do the Dubs the world of good to have their two favourite counties, Kildare & Mayo, in with them. Incidentally that senior game is going to be another double-digit incineration job by the Dubs I'm afraid - Roscommon are hopelessly out of their depth in the Super 8s.
I remember first seeing Hyland a few years back and actually being shocked by him. A stylish inside forward who can beat his man and is a lethal finisher? Kildare don't produce forwards like that!!
O'Neill is the best underage Kildare keeper I've seen - brilliant shot-stopping, fielding & kick-outs.
And Jesus Masterson is some horse in the middle of the field. He's already won Leinster minor and club titles & now captained the U20s to an All Ireland final. He's a real leader who always stands up at crucial moments. And that first half point was outrageous - Nuxer Buckley stuff.
Trojan work being done at underage but my attitude is honestly - we're not stopping til we win a senior All Ireland. That's just the way it is.

| Blown away by that performance. Far better than Kerry. Our inside forwards are lethal. If Hyland and McGloughlin wore a Kerry or Dublin jersey you'd have articles in national newspapers telling everyone how good they are. Unplayable today. I loved the arrogance of McGloghlin when he scored an early point ran out patted the Kerry man marking him on the back of the head and had a word as if to say "I'll be doing that all day and there's nothing you can do". That's the attitude we need more of.
One thing we need to do better is closing out the game. We were rushing everything when we needed to slow everything down and snide it out.
Brilliant brilliant win. Congratulations to all involved. What a time to be a Kildare supporter.

| Archbold gives us some presence in the half back like, it’s a springboard from defense to attack, Ryan and Gibbons and Archbold have some legs in them. No doubt Woodgate, Hyland and McLoughlin won us the game, but it all comes from these lads in the half back line | |

| Hard to believe that the turnaround from minor to this team in 2016 was close to 20points kerry minors hammered us in semi final with that annoying major uisce on pitch all day that day kerry were sickened yesterday Jack o c looked shell shocked | |

| Take O Shea and Clifford out of that Kerry side and they're a far different side though. Not to take too much from ourselves as they've won the last 3 All Irelands at minor. A great win | |

| Not that this means anything on the pitch but Paddy Power odds for Final are interesting... Kildare 4/7 Mayo 7/4. Hope Paddy's expectations are right !!! | |

Kerry or Dublin would have been a lot shorter.

| well done to a great bunch of lads, done the business in an awkward pitch that the like of Kerry would be more used to, nearly every player won his individual battle which was the difference... along with keeping the scoreboard ticking over... great to see the joy on the pitch after the game... | |

| Some improvement on this Team since the Laois Game. It's gonna be some occasion for these Fellas who won't be daunted by Croker.. most will have played here previously. | |

Would like to see him called into senior next year.
