It's CON's Linked In profile, which is professional, so of course he wrote it. Those are all tangible achievements, and then there are his professional achievements.

He has a background in S & C - he is not the S & C coach. Part of his initial difficulty was an inability to delegate, wanting to micromanage. It is one he shared with McGeeney. McGeeney learned to let go and be manager. CON said at the start of last year, he had learned that lesson. No longer in touch with anyone involved so don't know if he managed that.

While there were many who wished Glenn Ryan got the job at the time, the majority understood why CON got it. Don't think you can criticise the county board for that appointment.

Names mentioned above regarding next successor and the sort of crap that's being said about CON and county board is why some of them, Kildare legends and all as they are, very much doubt whether they would accept any offer were it to come.

Can someone do something about Shay posting the same message four times?

And Dermot, it's Shea, not Shay.

My old friend Ogie It is a disgrace that opinions which do not agree with the blind banal unrealistic propaganda peddled by county board lackies on this forum is met with such derision. The fact that I am getting so much attention obviously means that my points are hitting home. We are leaderless in our county board and if you think mr Donnelly is bad just wait until you see what is lined up to follow him. Gorman Dunny and Farrell. Colm Farrell tipped by many at the top table to take the top job mr Gorman doesn’t want it and it’s very important to keep the main man minding the few bob in hawk field and conleths. More of the same next year. Nearly 100 years since our last all Ireland senior victory and we have the arrogance to call ourselves a leading football county. A CHANGE IS NEEDED. LETS MAKE KILDARE GREAT AGAIN.
