Mr Rainbow.
I think that would be a good appointment for Naas.... I know he didn't do much with Sars but winning a Dublin SFC is a good achievement.

Rainbow did 3 years with Sash and won 2 championships, maybe you are referring to Leinster record but no Sash manager/coach has cracked that. I don’t think he has any interest in leaving Boden right now anyway.

Totally agree. Time for clubs to start trusting their own and win lose or draw develop their own coaches.

Absolutely! And plenty of clubs willing to give money to bluffers!!
I would have no time for bluffers however being a manager of an adult team is a 7 day a week role and the people in these positions deserve to be rewarded for their time.
To go further being a manager of one of the bigger senior clubs is a 24 hours a day job, non stop phone calls, texts, planning training, attending matches, players contacting you, committees looking for you etc, etc, etc.

They could do with a more attacking minded manager. I think two mile house are looking also but could be wrong there.

I heard Naas have a new man appointed - Paul Kelly (got Thomas Davis to a Dublin final last year). Is this true? I heard it as a rumour but from a reliable source.

I can see Naas winning a few county titles over the next 10 years or so, the trick is to be there at the right time, and have an idea what you are doing.

Doesn't sound like an environment that will enable high performance teams to flourish.... sounds more like an ICA update!

Not surprised he left. They are impossible to coach. They don’t take instruction and the know all Daddy’s on the sideline have too much influence.
