Some run by Grange who are unbeaten since the start of Div. 4 last year. 17 games I think including the league final. Top of Div. 3 now. Fair going for a small club.
Great result for Leixlip at the weekend too away to Clane. Themselves, Confey, Carbury and Castledermot will probably battle it out to avoid relegation.
Rathangan could well be the surprise team of the year. All their top players available and the younger ones maturing. Keep an eye on them.

A three-mile intercounty club transfer? Maybe I'm wrong in initial reaction and no idea of circumstance, and am sure he's given unreal service, but on what grounds is that sanctioned?

Not a great loss to JTB. Always injured and never performs on the big day. Better off developing the youth .

HA! I speak highly of them because they deserve it and it's a way of promoting and giving exposure to junior teams. Teams that are largely ignored. They are far from my team I can tell you that!

Big win for Leixlip last night . First time they beat their neighbours in 12 years in league or championship. Athy seem to be motoring well this year . Another good win last night. Anyone know If any of the county panellists played last night ?

First Leixlip Confey competitive meeting in a few years I believe. Saw JTB again last night thought they're moving well overall this year so far. Interested to hear the hurley news, thought injuries had retired him. Did anyone see naas celbridge? Were naas comfortable? Thought celbridge might be stronger in a league meeting

Fergal Conway sent off with 10/15 mins to go, celbridge up by one at that stage after coming back from 4 points down at half time, dermot Hanafin superb for naas should definitely be involved in county set up

You didn't have much to say on Darren Lawlor's transfer from Rheban to Athy a few years back. Another three mile transfer. On what grounds was that sanctioned?

In fact, I put this question up for everyone at the time and no one answered.

Athy are motoring very well. A blip against JTB but I have seen them twice and they are very well drilled this year. They mauled Raheens in Raheens and are very physical and a bit nasty which is a good thing if you are looking to win something. Niall Kelly in great form.

Leixlip beating Confey should mean they stay up so it comes down to Confey and Carbury causing a shock or two to get above Castledermot and Leixlip for safety. That draw Castledermot had with Raheens where Castledermot hadnt even scored a point at half time (just a goal) could be huge in keeping them up.

Also, keep an eye on Rathangan in Div. 3 and in Intermediate championship. Playing serious football at the moment.

Milltown have only just come down and are playing good football so I think it is between themselves and Grange given the experience Grange will get from playing Div. 3. That wasn't much use to Kill last year though. I'm going to go with Grange.

For Junior A I think Castlemitchell. They are a decent team but have been unlucky to find themselves in Group A. Cappagh and Athgarvan will probably challenge each other for third in group B so the loser of that battle will be Castlemitchell's rival in Junior A I think.

Grange very competitive in div 3 got to stand to them this year i thought after losing 2 big players to larries would have set them back but its the opposite in fact fair play to them.
yea castlemitchell will get james harris back now soon and he`ll be a huge help there for them.
2 good calls i agree with both.

Outside of the really unofficial chap who is doing wonders (probably voluntarily) promotion and coverage of the club game in this county is literally non existent. Local Media should be ashamed of themselves given the technology at their finger tips.
