Athy but like it should be a great SFC.
In IFC it's either Bridge or Monastervin. Reckon C'dermot dark horses.
JFC TMH are not only good on paper. Saw them in the first round and they are v organised, all know what they're roles as.
Boys I'd say the county men can't wait to get going again.
Might start another thread?

I would say the county boys would like a couple of months doing nothing imo.

Senior is very open. Would have Sarsfields in the driving seat at the moment but Athy won't be far away if they get a few players back. Not much between the likes of Moorefield, Celbridge and Larries while Carbury aren't a million miles away either.

It's about time that JTB delivered on their promise in the Intermediate level. I'd fancy TMH to take the Junior title.

Maybe some of the county players don't give two hoots about there clubs but i'll say most are really looking forward to get going with there clubs as a matter of fact they should be playing with there clubs more hopefully this can be brought up at the county board meetings for next year.

Intermediate Championship

Robertstown 3-12 1-10 Ellistown
Rathangan 0-12 1-7 Sallins

Big win for Robertstown, don't think many would have predicted that.

Yeah my ststaement was meant to mean that the county lads have been on teh go for a long time now. Verylittle break for a lot of them between county, ckub, cokkege etc. Would say a few of them would liek to take one or 2 months off

going by that taibi you would be looking at two mile house and clogherinkoe straight through to semis with milltown finishing 3rd so they would play 6th which would be rheban or rathcoffey depending on score diff and grange v castlemitchell.

i think that cappagh will give rheban a good test but just fall short rathcoffey will need a big performance and not lose by anymore than 3 points to have any hope

Celbridge v Ballymore

I think an easy win for Celbridge here with a bit to spare. Celbridge by 8

Leixlip v Naas

A very tough game to call but I would go for Naas just to pip Leixlip by a point or 2

Maynooth v Carbury

I think Carbury have better players & will win by a few points after a tough battle. Carbury by 4

Moorefield v Clane

I afraid Moorefield will win this one Clane have a few players away and you need all your best players to beat a team like Moorefield, Moorefield by 5

Losers Groups

Confey v Suncroft

Another tough game to call but I would go for Confey by a couple of points

Sarsfields v Kevins

Sarsfields will be well up for this one and I think they will win by a few. Sarsfields by 7

Athy v Allenwood

Athy to pull through after a tough battle from Allenwood. Athy by 6

Towers v Larries

A very interesting game I hear towers have Glenn & Brian Lacey as managers so they will be well up for this one could be one hell of a battle but i would still go for Larries by 3 points.

No i meant odds actually! Gate prices Very Happy

right very quiet in here with a big weekend ahead - colours to the mast time:

Celbridge v Ballymore

Cellbridge too strong for Ballymore in this one. Celbo by 7

Leixlip v Naas

Would agree this is prob the closest one to call, think Naas may have peaked in beating Sarsfields, form has dipped dramatically since, also Lepers fitness a concern. Leixlip by 2

Maynooth v Carbury

Another close one, Maynooth well able to mix it with the stronger teams, dont think they have anybody to handle Eoghan Fla though and his club form has never been in question. Carbury by 3

Moorefield v Clane

Think clane still have lads missing on hols or something, they wont make it easy for Moorefield. Moorefield prob have too much fire power. Moorefield by 5

Losers Groups

Confey v Suncroft

will be a close and probably shite game. a fit again Dowling to run amok. Croft by 2

Sarsfields v Kevins

Blitzkreig. Sardfields by 8

Athy v Allenwood

Allenwood will make a dogfight of it. If Athy have their young lads back from America should get over the line. Athy by 4

Towers v Larries

Think Larries will be there or there abouts this year, (9/1 a great price btw) should come out the right side of this eventually. Larries by 6

Celbridge v Ballymore

A team who reached Div 1 Final against a team almost relegated from Div 2, Celbridge by at least 7

Leixlip v Naas

Depends on which is the real Naas, if the team that beat Sarsfields shows up, they should win, if on the other hand the team which has lost all bar 1 of their lasy 7 league games turns up, Leixlip should win, I will go for Naas to regain form, Naas by 3

Maynooth v Carbury

Maynooth very physically strong against a Carbury team which finished the league strongly and is getting the 2 Flahertys back, very tough to call, I reckon Maynooth by 2.

Moorefield v Clane

Moorefield will have way too much for a Clane side which seems to be struggling for numbers, Moorefield by 6

Losers Groups

Confey v Suncroft

No very strong opinion here as have seen very little of either team, Confey having played Div 1 all year should be better prepared for this, Confey by 4

Sarsfields v Kevins

Not going to go against my own, will be happy with Sash by 1

Athy v Allenwood

Some of the Athy team only came back from the States this week I believe so this may be the time to catch them, having said that I don't believe Allenwood are good enough to take advantage of that, Athy by 5

Towers v Larries

Larries should have way too much for a Towers team trying to rescue their season following an abysmal League campaign, Larries by 4.
