| I'm starting to wonder is there anyone else actually on the panel or are only 18 lads running around Hawkfield twice a week. | |

It's all part of a cunning plan that CON has devised for the Championship.................

| Listening on the radio. Kinda get a sense that the attendance from Kildare perspective is poor. | |

| Yeah small crowd here. Where has our once great support gone? Dublins unhealthy dominance of leinster football has been massively damaging to kildare gaa. | |

| Any positives from the match BigBall. It all sounds very dead from the radio. No passion!

| 14 wides, 3 dropped short, we have gone backwards by a lot , for those that thought we will bounce straight back up, from this viewing we will be lucky to stay in division 2, Carlow or Louth won't be too worried, some hard decisions needed.... | |

| Kill Bill didn't you the memo? Performances this season have been better than last year, so we're actually in a very healthy position.
Incidentally, this is the Kildare football team's worst losing streak of all time, but no to worry - we're learning valuable lessons.

| Discipline issues raising their heads again. Listening to Peter McConnon at half time and he was not beating around the bush trying to hide the fact it happened.
Never a good sign when this starts creeping in. Bad times.
As for the game , can't be arsed. We've seen it all before this year and judging by the inability to learn we'll see it all again.

Drink after Kerry match is the only thing I’ve heard. Casts a shadow over those left out today. This game was a microcosm of the players’ and managenentt’s failings all season. Absolutely clueless football. 15 wides. A couple dropped short as well. Galway players able to shoot at leisure in first half. Full back line a yard off their men. Doyle and Keith Cribbin roles unclear. Brophy seemingly not allowed to go inside the 45 metre line. Hail Mary shooting from said 45m line. Missed frees. Leper chosen to start (no disrespect but..). Running headlong into traffic. 3 point game and our captain fails to go down on the ball at our own kick out allowing the inevitable Galway clincher. Positives? Flynn was energetic, O’Neill was solid in goal without really being tested. Jimmy showed well for the ball although struggled to create opportunities for himself. Thankfully it’s all over. With confidence as it is we won’t be too cocky going into a game against Carlow or Louth, neither of whom will fear us.

| You look at a county like Monaghan, who with less resources honestly shame us. Not Dublin's strongest team today but could you imagine our lads having the balls to go out and get a result like that. I certainly couldn't.
Questions should be asked about discipline in camp, but look forward to local media bravely ignoring it as usual.

| That was like a challenge game, no tackling, no aggression, Galway done what they liked in possession, while we continue to take some ridiculously poor options up front.
Anyway back to their clubs for games for the next few weeks, they might regain some confidence in those games and be ready to attack the championship but from what I have seen so far I doubt it!

| O Neills goose is cooked. Once you lose the dressing room you're finished.
Martin McHugh and Peter McConnon on the airwaves talking about the Kildare lads partying a little too hard in Kerry last week. I blame the players and management . The management for manufacturing the situation where it allowed it to happen and obviously the players for having absolutely no respect for Kildare football.
Refusing interviews from the local media , after a dead rubber game when we are already relegated is probably the final nail in the coffin .
