6th Feb Antrim v Kildare Win
20th Feb Kildare v Derry Win
27th Feb Donegal v Kildare Lose
13th March Kildare v Laois Win
20th March Kildare v Meath Win
3rd April Tyrone v Kildare Lose
10th April Kildare v Sligo Win

We Should gain promotion along with Tyrone probably topping the division. Laois (please be to god) and Antrim to take the dreaded drop to Division 3

Would have being nice to get Tyrone early in the league for obvious reasons, wouldnt be to confident of beating Meath, but i reckon we could do a job on Donegal they hardly set the world alight last year.

Yeah especially after the drubbing we got from them the last time we played

Meath will be better with McEeneany in charge and can never be discounted!

lads lets not forget how badly our year started in 2010 the team is trained to peak in the summer an it worked so well i wouldn be surprised if we came 4th in the league an had a couple of wobbly leinster champ games an pick up the pace from there! id be more than happy with that if we get to the semi's again!

Great article here... Mickey Harte was talking Tyrone football within hours of finding out about his daughter being murdered... if Tyrone don't do it, it'll be because they're aging and their stars aren't what they used to be, not because of this tragedy... they've dealt with two already down the years and they were powerful motivations... was interested to see Harte saying just last week that Cavanagh would be playing midfield this year - that's obviously because they have issues there and it will also be an attempt to reinvigorate the player

Im not Ciaran Walsheman! Ha! I played with him under Alan Barry with the 21s and he cleaned up every match he played! Dont know if hes still in the country or what as used to see him around maynooth on nights out but havent in ages! Cant understand why he hasnt got a trial or even call up to juniors! Hes very lazy.....maybe that could be the problem??

I don't know if it's true but if it is, that would be a BIG problem! As Geezer says, when you're playing senior inter-county, talent is a given

Given our fixtures that 9/2 is a tempting e/w bet. We look in better shape than we did at this stage last year.

If I could only decide who I fancy for division 3 there'd be nice odds going for an each way four team accumulator bet of ourselves, Cork, Roscommon and Limerick / Louth / Offaly / Westmeath.

Just on the Club Kildare page of the official website there and along with the deal for the Donegal game they're also running buses to the Antrim match. Same day return for €15, can't go wrong with that now, hopefully a big crowd will travel for it.

Think we are capable of winning all our games but if Geezer wants to use the league to try out new players or experiment with tactics, positional play then I would be happy if they stay in div 2 if it benefits our championship this year,, the big one in september is the holy grail for this team and all us supporters.

I think we should beat Antrim,Derry , Laois and Sligo but will be very hard to beat Donegal and Tyrone up there.
The Meath game depends on players availiable for both teams. Cant call it yet.
Hardly any teams go unbeaten in the league anymore.

No game will be a banker and it will be hard to beat everyone with both your first choice midfielders missing.

Seems to be a few travelling to the Donegal match anyway. Is anyone planning an overnight in Belfast for the Antrim match?

yes dont no whether a saturday or sunday suits better though!!!

Sunday night in Belfast would be shite. Everywhere closes about 11 o'clock.

I'm going to be up in Belfast for the Antrim game, has anyone any advice regarding parking around casement park. Is there any parking provided, how safe/secure is it? Cheers

Park anywhere along the Andersonstown Road. Good long street- should be plenty of room. Casement is near the M1 too.

You can see the floodlights of the ground from the motorway, check out google maps gives a good idea of it's location in relation to the M1.
