KILDARE MINORS 2012

Good result for the minors at the weekend. dropped into to see it, Brophy and Niall Kelly looked very dangerous in the forwards. good performance and look a better set up team than last year.

Lets not get carried away with challenge results though, i seem to remember this years u21's had some similar build up to that horrible night in Gracefield!!!

We havnt won a Leinster Minor since 1991, and I am not gonna start building this Team up after what happened to the u 21s, and I certainly wont be putting the mockers on them by backing them!!
Any idea of team shape Lillyboy, as you seem to have a decent scope on whats happening.

Great win for Edenderry in the Hogan Cup. Encouraging to see many of the Kildare lads to the fore. It's a pity Flynn is overage for minor this year. Caught some great ball around the middle.

The goal killed it even if its was just around 20 mins in.

Not only did Flynn catch some great ball, he attacked off it. Won plenty frees as well ( shooting not his thing today but would have beeb masacre if it was !!!!)

Tough on Gallen. Everything went wrong for them. Travelled on one of their buuses, very quiet on the way out.

Only member of kildare minor panel is cein mcmonagle. The goal scorer. Has hit most of edenderrys goals this year. He minor again next year. 5 lads from balyna started today. Good times ahead for both clubs hopefully

No news coming out of the camp, hopefully the picture will clear up during the week. It would be nice to know the team before arriving in Newbridge on Saturday. Can't see many changes from the team that beat Cork a few weeks ago

The 2012 Leinster Minor Football Championship gets underway this weekend with all twelve Counties participating. Kilkenny and Offaly get things started on Friday night while there are five games scheduled for Saturday. The venues and starting times are as follows:-

2. Louth v Westmeath (14.4.2012) at Haggardstown (3.00pm)
