If the next round was rushed & played this weekend, the argument would be that the clubs are not ready. I'm sure ur suggestion about playing a round of championship without the county players could be explored, no doubt it wouldn't be accepted and rightly so.

i wasnt suggesting this weekend, i was suggesting 2 weeks after the cork game which seems fair to both clubs and county players i dont get the need for a 3 week break.

so 30 county players get to choose when club championship is played in kildare. fair enough if you think thats right im not getting into this anymore

Im not naiive enough to think the county players are deciding when the championship is played. Its only a rumour that they asked for 3 weeks break. The championship wasn't going to start for at least 2/3 weeks anyway. So whats the big deal?!

Having club players idle for the whole of August is not ideal in any situation, having said that the county players probably need at least a week to get over what happened last weekend and clubs need more than a week to reintegrate these players back into their teams so it was more than likely always going to be a 3 week gap after the Cork game.

Has anyone seen the update on the club championship on the kildare gaa website.

Having the clubs wait a month for a competitive game this time seem fair given the reason behind it.

But from looking at this update the winners of Rd 2 Winners Section(automatically through to QF's)

May have to wait another month depending on the draw and fixtures as the quarter finals are fixed for 14th/15th and 22nd/23rd of September

yeah noticed that,nothing realy wrong with a break for county players but im sure its not gonna be much of a break as from next week clubs will only have them for 4 training before rd 2 of championship,im sure there gonna be doing those sessions

Wtf are you on about? Where did I mention his personal life?

I made no secret early in the year that I didn't think his work rate is anywhere near what it shud be. But I said no more until the season was over to see if it improved. It didn't!

Many others have commented here about his lack of contribution, but now that I mention him, people decide to take offence. I couldn't care less.

Why would Admin choose to take offence to that?

It was a tongue in cheek comment BFFF. His work rate is nowhere near what it should be for a senior footballer. If you can't see that, it's your problem. He's not on his own either.

I'm not asking you to agree or like it. Nor am I asking you to turn the comment into something it's
not. Any criticism I have of him is as a footballer. I don't know anything else about him nor do I want to.
