Also the fact that he is from Clane, they would prob be the members of the squad he might be close to - i hardly think TOC or Robbie Eyres are threatening to walk out any time soon.
Finally he is also reporting on a "cocaine dealing father and shoplifting mother" how could anybody affiliated to the SJ case fit time in to cover such a scoop aswell??? who is this reporter?

Ian Mallon, works for the Herald, originally from Clane. The cocaine/shop lifting reference was in relation to John Terry by the way LOP so not really a scoop!

Whats the problem with closed sessions flourman? Are the Kildare team your performing Monkeys whom you should have access to whenever you see fit? |

Are the Kildare team your performing Monkeys whom you should have access to whenever you see fit? Not at all / just don't see the point of preventing a few lads from viewing training.

| According to the website this is the team for the Cavan game. As always dont read too much into it. 1. Shane Connolly (St. Laurences)
2. Andriú MacLochlainn (Ellistown)
3. Michael Foley (Athy)
4. Peter Kelly (Two Mile House)
5. Emmet Bolton (Eadestown)
6. Morgan O’Flaherty (Carbury)
7. Hugh McGrillen (Celbridge)
8. Daryl Flynn (Moorefield)
9. Robert Kelly (Straffan)
10. Eoghan O’Flaherty (Carbury)
11. Mikey Conway (Nurney)
12. Alan Smith (Sarsfields)
13. John Doyle (Captain) (Allenwood)
14. Tomás O’Connor (Clane)
15. James Kavanagh (Ballymore)

| Cannot comment on the team up there as it more than likely will not be the team that lines out.
If it is, Paidi and Ollie have fallen on their sword. There could have been many others, they shall remain nameless. |

| Harsh on Ollie if that's the case imo. Our problems the last day was mainly our finishing in the fwds and there doesn't seem to be many changes there.
Like Fionn said though, prob won't be this team lining out

| I think that team doesn't look too bad...I'm not as close as some others here to knowing if it is the correct team but if it was I wouldn't be too unhappy. At least it doesn't have any messing like Bolton in midfield.
I was mainly hoping for 2 proper midfielders to be picked who can win their own ball. P O'Neill has been playing well this year but just isn't an intercounty midfielder. The half forward line does look a little lightweight so he may still get into the team there.
JD should be told to not go back into his own half in this game. He's been running himself into the ground recently when he should stay close to their goals. The full forward line as shown above are all well able to win their own ball but hopefully it won't be a load of lumped in passes but rather more accurate balls into space.

| If that was the team would be happy with 1 to 9.I would rather a foward line if everybody is fit of Callaghan O Neill O Flaherty Smith O Connor Doyle If Callaghan is not fit id move flaherty to his position,Doyle to wing foward and Fogarty in at corner foward | |

Unusual for the actual team to be announced so early but I'd be happy enough with it to be honest. Could of dropped a couple of others but glad to see they resisted the urge. They know who they are and I'm sure they'll bust a gut to prove themselves.

| Was talking to one of the players at the minor match tonight and they don't know the team yet so that is far from certain to be the team. | |

| Any word on Johnson injury. I doubt this is starting team tbh. I can't see Mac starting. He has being massive for kildare through the years but at present I rate prob 7 or 8 defenders on the panel ahead of him. Can still do a job on certain type of player though. | |

Haven't heard anything about SJ's injury, maybe we can look at signing Mortimer to have some extra cover

| it might be what is in mortimers mind all the same. he made some comments on twitter after the announcement of the team the last day too which he didnt start on. id say he is not happy to be on the bench. in my opinion he needs a reality check and put in his box. for any one player to think they are guarenteed a starting spot on past performance or whatever he feels he has done to surfice this place is beyond me. kildare might not be his destination but dont be suprised if he is putting up the auction sign for a new county. | |

| I'd sincerely hope he wouldnt come to Kildare. We have enough shite with one player, it would be worse having further problems with a tosser like Mortimer! | |

If I were Jim Corr I'd go so far as to believe that Seanie might be following suit with the Meath lads and is in fact operating behind enemy lines so to speak. But I'm not so I won't.
