I think that Carbury beat UCD who were then Dublin champions in the early 70's.

The Sash / Ballymun game is a continuation of the Kildare v Dublin rivalry which has not been good for us in recent times. A Sash win would be a huge boost for the county.

I believe it is true, now whether it was sanctioned by the county board or not is another question, the fencing around conleths is easily hopped over! If the county board did sanction it, it is very embarassing given that sarsfields were refused same before the pats game.

True MBP, you would just hope that the Co. Board aren't giving advantages to non Kildare clubs that they aren't affording to their own, that would be very poor form on their behalf.

Great game by Monasterevan well deserved victory. Some great performances their workrate is excellent and some great scores kicked. Anthony Kavanagh and Wayne Fitzpatrick had great games.
