Next manager: Suggestions.

Borderline I don't think now its about football I think what the county needs is something fresh new idea's new approach get the supporters back on board. I don't know Jason Ryan and i'm sure he is a nice guy but hearing and talking to very honest footballing people its best for Kildare to make a change because if it stays the same we will lose a lot more than games.

Surely as out last manager when his term was up, he also wished to stay but for a new term had to be voted by county board delegates and we all know what happened. I'm not too sure but when Jason was voted in did his term end this year.
I think if it goes to a vote at Co. Board he has no hope

Someone made a comment about not coming back next year if he stays. I had the same thought the other day although I can't imagine staying away after 40 years going.

I really cannot get over the fact that Ryan hasn't been kicked out already. The CB and Chairman are a complete waste of space if they don't act on this.

There is a serious disconnect between the supporters, the clubs, the county board, the team and the funding arm. But it needs strong leadership to unite everything I don't know anybody who would take on that mammoth task in a honorary role........

+2 and I'd question whether Ger Donnelly will suffer the fate of McMahon if he is backing Ryan for another year.

Spot on stone cold. Surely in a county like Kildare we can get better funding. Easier said than done I suppose but you still need the volunteers to do this work.

While Wexford may have had a limited Panel, they also had some very good Footballers, ie, One Matty Ford, Ciaran Lyng etc.

The Club Delegates wont allow Jason stay on.. I done know who will come in, but who ever does, it needs some serious thought.

What worries me is that is seems to be very quite on the manager hunt if one exists. Ha anyone heard wnaything other than Ryan wants to stay which I think we all know now

Few rumours, but nothing more from Me at this stage, and I wouldnt like to second guess whats going on behind the scenes at CB level.

What is Kildare C.B at with the manager job ? Is j. Ryan coming or going it a joke I don't see how he can carry on . There are 7 counties looking for a new manager and there are some managers out there interested in they Kildare job but don't know if it up for grabs. Ger Donnelly wake up and smell the coffie!! Why we have to arse around when this should be done and dusted

Gone, confirmed by Tommy Callaghan tonight. Should have done it straight after the Quarter final but he finally did the right thing.

Now the chairman is in the spotlight to get the right man in. Things are coming to a head.

Fair enough so, considering how the county board have done things in the past it was pretty decent of him to let him resign so.

Beating Cork in Thurles was one of the best days out I've had following Kildare in a long long time, and hammering Laois is always nice, best of luck to him in the future.

Who's taking odds on a new manager? McStay and Evans bound to be mentioned in some quarters.

Ryan or Rainbow with Earley and Doyle as selectors along with Cian O'Neill in some capacity whilst pretty unlikely might be a good way of winning some fans back.
