| lads started this last year too. lots of comments about the county team etc so we could use this topic to highlight any standout performers in the SFC, IFC and JFC in the coming weeks. if admin could make it a sticky would be great?? between us all here we will get a view on nearly every game.

| Not sure if there are any unbiased opinions out there but Ray Cahill put on an exhibition for Sarsfields today scoring 1.07, 1.05 from play. Obviously my view is very one sided and others who saw the game today might view it differently. | |

| Yea Topcat I thought he was fairly impressive today (same as the league final IMO) kicks equally well off both feet too. Won a lot of dirty ball aswell not just handed the scores, What age is he 22/23??? | |

| Yeah he done very well today, but he got a lot of space and time off the kevins defenders, would like to see him against a tougher defending team.....but still kicked some fine scores, thought number 8 for clane, (think it was naughton), played well today, would say that when he went off injured the moors took over control around the middle and went on to win the game............ | |

Very quiet. In fairness well marshalled by Sarsfields. Man on him and Campbell in front. Didn't get any real ball. Never looked confident for the penalty at the end. Impressed by No. 14 think it's Barry Noone for St. Kevin's. He kicked a couple of nice points and wasn't afraid to run at Sarsfields. Cahill played well. Some lovely scores and a great run into the box for the goal. Also good to see Ronan Seeeney continue to lead the charge for Moorefield. Just like in the 1st rd. where he dragged Moorefield back into it with his mazy goal run he hit important points when they were needed. Interesting few fixtures. Serious business in a fortnights time.

| Hopefully the 2 week break will allow athy to get our injured players back, sneaky feeling for Carbury this year, very open still think sash will be there or there abouts possibly moorefield as well. | |

| Also thought Cian Bolton (emmets brother) was a handful in the intermediate champ. | |

Carbury were very good yesterday. good fluid moves and can get scores from lots of places. apart from the obvious flats boys good performances from the likes of andy darmody and kenny mcnamara.

| Botch, Bolton missed quite a bit during the game, missed more than he scored. Need to see him against a quick full back !!! | |

| Yeah Carbury are to be watched, coming off a poor league campaign, they seem to have got it right for the champship, good draw for them as well. Don't think any of the teams have set the champship on fire yet. Very open this year | |

| Seen all the county junior games this year and have to say he did not stand out much in any game, seems to take the wrong option a lot of the time, as he did on saturday with his club, but he might be worth bringing in to train with senior squad and see how he fairs with better players around him.... | |

| Moolick would be worth a try at mid field for the county, hes young, tall and strong, he is a well built lad. | |

| yes worth a look still only 19 , 20 in October very strong in the air and still yet to fill out has good presence down the middle something we were missing this year ripped Naas apart yesterday in midfield pity Hughie isn't from Leixlip that would be a great midfield. | |
