With 3 rounds to go Nurney are in prime position to go up, with Kilcullen & Suncroft battling for the 2nd spot, Castlemitchell & Cappagh have still outside chances of going up. Grange's recent improved form have moved them away from the foot of the table

With most teams having 3 games remaining (kilcock & Ballteague have 2) promotion would seem to lie between Maynooth, Kilcock & Allenwood, Maynooth & Allenwood have to play each other which will be a crucial fixture. If Kilcock win their 2 games v Ballykelly & Straffan they should go up.

At the bottom, Ballykelly have had a tough year and will return to div 3,

Ballyteague have 2 local derbies remaining v Allenwood and Robertstown - the Robertstown clash could decide who stays up, Robertstowns other two remaining fixtures are against top of the table Maynooth and bottom side Ballykelly.

Ballymore, Rathangan & Caragh are not out of the woods yet, with Ballymore in particular having a tricky enough run in via Ellistown, Kill & Maynooth in their final 3 games.

Again most teams have either 2 or 3 league fixtures remaining (Clane & Confey have 4). Celbridge have had an impressive campaign considering they have OGrady, McGrillen, Lyons, Conway and Brophy involved with Kildare. They have 2 tough games left v Sarsfields & 2nd place Athy so nothing is decided yet in Division 1.

Athy's finish is equally tough with their last 3 games being against the teams in 1st, 3rd and 4th, i.e. Celbridge, Moorefield & Naas.

Moorefield in 3rd, remaining games are v Athy, Castledermot & Leixlip while 4th place Naas' run in is v Sarsfields, Athy & Castledermot

With all the top teams having tough fixtures remaining, Carbury have an outside chance of making the top 2, and their remaining games are v Raheens, Monasterevan and Sarsfields.

There is a real scrap to avoid relegation to Div 2, with Laurences on the bottom with 5 points, and Kevins, Raheens, JTB and Clane all on 6. Confey &Towers on 8 points and Leixlip on 9 are also not 100% safe yet.

Similarly to the teams at the top of the table, a lot of the teams at the bottom end have yet to play each other. The following are the remaining games for the bottom 5.

Having said that, Castlemitchell are still in with a good shout of going up. They have been going well lately and they still have to play Suncroft and Kilcullen.

i heard kilcullen were disciplined for a game earlier in the year against rheban. is there any truth in this?
a fine and lost points for the game and deducted a further point.

Clane were awarded the points for their game with Confey but I understand there is an appeal ongoing. Could make a huge difference to the bottom of the league.

That would be the game that never was. Never heard anything more about it. Not showing up on the table on the website anyway, they've 16 points from 8 wins.

I think Kilcullen got the pts for that game. I heard rebhan had no team and made out that they played for the pts the wk before in the c/ship so a fine for them and pt deducted. I could be wrong but its what iv heard

I think inexperience will go against them when they come up against the Moores.

Celbridge at 8/1 looks a decent price to Me Folks..

Nurney promoted with Suncroft, Castlemitchell and Kilcullen battling it out for second spot. Kilcullen were docked 3 points however but are appealing to the Leinster Council.

Why were Kicullen docked 3 pts?

If Nurney & Suncroft are promoted.. I assume they both finished 1st & 2nd ??
