Very interesting draw, two of the favourites drawn against each other in both championships. Athy v sarsfields is a game to look forward to. Towers JTB if JTB can win this could this be their year, kilcock are serious contenders too. Two local draws in raheens caragh and ellistown rathangan no love will be lost in those games.

I see its been announced that Championship is to commence on the weekend of the 9th/10th/11th of August.

What will happen if Kildare minors are still involved in the All Ireland series.

The 1st minor semi final is scheduled for the 24 August with the 2nd one on the 01 September so it should not effect the next round of the club championship ( 10/11 Aug ) but could cause problems if they qualify for the semi final and final.

Wouldn't be surprised to see Confey get past Larries, could find it tough after that though, 25/1 is pretty tempting for an each way bet all the same.

Four of the five favourites playing each in the next round which should make for two good games,

Confey will do well in the champship this year fancy them against larries possible semi final slot, I think it could be a moorefield v Athy final depending on the draw
