I dont think its a problem. We are sailing with a following wind and the feelgood factor in the camp must be immense.

We have a great chance. Meath can blow hot and cold but doi have the forwards that will cause us more problems that any of the teams we have faced in the qualifiers so beware!

Cant believe we are at this stage again for the 3rd year in a row. Tremendous effort on behalf of management and players!

It is amazing that we haven't picked up a lot more injuries over the last 5 weeks.

All that conditioning work during the league campaign has stood them in good stead.

Did I hear a rumour that Mikey Conway is back in training? Probably too late for him to get back this year but I'd love to see him back next year.

Don't think Conway is training, I have been able to get to a couple of recent sessions in Newbridge and he is there but apart from chatting did nothing else.

I can't go to QF! So disappointed!!!!

There are mutterings on the grape vine that will be playing Sunday with Cork/Roscommon.

Only rumours at this stage so we'll have to wait and see.

Dermot will play no worries, he was taken off as he's being wrapped in cotton wool because his knee is in shite and the game was done. He is some warrior. When they took him off against Leitrim, he was raging but sure he's buckled. An incredible man.

Visions of 98 coming to me,beating Meath and Kerry to get to the All Ireland final,all dreams of course but hey I can dream.

There must be a real buzz in the Kildare camp this week.

Reaching the last 8 on Saturday, drawing Meath and in with a real shout to reach the Semi Final and who knows maybe even the final.

The lads are all in great form,after saturday,cant wait to the week end.

Folks - History is repeating itself 98 we played Meath in Leinster Final - same round today as 1/4's then it looks like Kerry in the semi's then the icing on the cake would be a Final V Dublin as the Add goes OH YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!

I will be heading up to dublin on sunday expecting to beat meath, we have the class footballers to run them ragged in the open expanses of croke park but if we are six points up with a few minutes to go please God don't let Kildare relax like we did against monaghan, I couldn't stand hearing them shower with that navan accent singing the "six point lead and ye couldn't beat Meath, doo dah ,doo dah" chant they had after the Jodie Devine game in 97. Honestly I can't see anything but a win for the Lillies,, Kildare by 5.
