A Leinster final & All Ireland Quarter final would be just reward for these young lilies and for Brian Murphy who has transformed under age football structures in the county.

It would also go a long way to easing the frustrations of last Sunday.

Get us to Croker on the 10th of July boys.

Best of luck to the lads and all involved. Some great work done over the last few years at under 16 and minor level, hopefully this is the year to win Leinster and after that who knows how the quarters can go, with a bit of luck these lads can go very far.

At least we can hold our hands up and say the best team won. Very disappointing for our lads but Dubs were class. Dare I say the ref was giving them some soft frees though !

Was at it , the only thing i can say was Dublin had the hunger , in the tackle and breaking the tackle , taking scores , and movement for free and in support was far superior , kildare started well , then faded gradually , there support play was very limited ,and in the free s there were way to static in making space or providing runs for the free taker to target. The 3 point after the break killed the challange ,and it was just a matter of damage limitation , some good individual performance for dublin , kildare just never got into the same gear , a pity as i expected a tighter challange from this group of kildare players , still young , they were taught a lesson in the basic's of the game , i would say they will learn from this unfortunely , and shall be a stronger unit next year if this panel is kept together , not nice seen teams so beaten convincingly , Hard luck lads in the week that was in it pale

I might add Parnell Park is another example of a neat "county ground" with good seating for everyone who wanted to seat, covered terraces for those who preferred to stand and decent facilities (toilets/shop) that aren't a danger to one's health. Our county board really was asleep at the wheel in the Celtic Tiger years...

Credit where credit is due Dublin were brilliant tonight, tough lesson for all Kildare players and management having seen the minors over last couple of years think lessons will be learned most direct style of play I have seen any Dublin team play over the last number of years, Keep the heads up lads many more days of football ahead.

Well that game just about topped off a great week.

Terrible stuff - Dublin were hungrier, more physical and used the tight pitch well to tie our boys up between the two 45s.

Just a question Dublin were far more physical than us and literally bullied us off the pitch - Is this a Kildare team that are in Year 1 of development against a Dublin team in their final year. What I mean to ask is, are many of ours boys will be eligible next year?

It looked like men against boys unfortunately, Dublin were much fitter and stronger. Hopefully lessons can be learned for the lads who will still be around next year.

On a sidenote, I think we will be hearing a lot more about the Dublin number 14, ciaran kilkenny. outstanding doesn't do him justice, 11 points, 8 from play & he is also on the dublin minor hurling team who are playing in a leinster final on Sunday
