I'll be spending my money on it, drugs, booze and hookers this Christmas.

No Taibi I'm not a moderator, its my opinion that derfil should shut his beak and this is a public forum and I'm entitled to say what I want.
Anyone else think the Ladies should wear tighter shorts when playing GAA to increase interest in Ladies Football??

Do everyone a favour and shut your own beak for a while, your constant tripe is grating on me now.

I have to agree with those criticising the "new" jersey. A few token changes hardly warrants all this hype. I certainly won't be buying it.
I will visit the new shop though and hope it goes well.

Can you get player issue jerseys in the shop?? i.e. ones without big baggy sleeves and are slim fit?

Haha, have to agree with the sceptics here... that is a pathetic attempt at a new jersey.
Fair enough, there ain't much you can do with white and I'm all for them trying to raise a bit of money, but jesus at least attempt to make it look different.
Kildare has been white for a long time but this is definitely the least the jersey has ever changed.

Surely you can see where I'm coming from though Fionn?
Your argument is that the county board need to raise money and we should support them which is fair enough but come on, are you really suggesting they couldn't have come up with any better/different than that? It's the same jersey with two pin stripes.
If they had of contracted the design out to a local primary school class they would have come up with better than that.

One of the all time great posts... Nice finish to that jersey. Only problem I have with it is, where's the "slates" gone!

El Guerrouj I am openly challenging people to come up with a better design Kildare jersey. (than the new one)
Sticking with the traditional all white Kildare Jersey. Everyone has microsoft paint... get creating.
Polo shirt for the winner.

I'm gonna stop arguing after this post Fionn, because if you think the effort gone into creating the new jersey is acceptable then there is no point.
They have added two f*ckin lines Fionn and call it a new jersey!! It's not up to me or anyone else on this forum to design something better in microsoft paint, we are the ones who will be buying the thing.
I'll ask you a one last question and leave it then, do you think they would have sold more or less 'new' jerseys if they had of been a little more inventive and changed the design a bit more?
The jersey can be traditional white without it stayin the exact same. Like I said before Kildare have released many new jerseys over the years and never has there been an attempt as lazy as this.

Ah now ElGuerrouj, me and you never argue. That's a slur against my good name.
I'll answer your question. I would say they were very limited in what they could do with an all white home jersey.
I would imagine the away jersey can and will be jazzed up a bit alright. But there are plenty of other avenues they can go down, like training tops.
The Dubs have some very nice training tops. If people want something different maybe the County Board could go down this route.
If you were part of the team ElGuerrouj coming up with the new jersey, what would you have done with it??

I'll have a go..how about this....forget its that clown Ronaldo but substitue all the blue trim for that navy or green trim we use and imagine Tegral slates instead of bwin. I like the grey subtle stripes accross the jersey. I think its classy. Slim fit as well.

Have to agree with a lot of posters here, the new jersey doesn't look great. Doesn't seem to have any shape to it, hopefully the player fit will be availbe to buy soon. Would have liked a collar on it too. Anyhow there are some nice hoodies/jackets on sale in the shop. If you don't fancy the new jersey you still support the county board by splashing out on something else from the shop!

Don't see the fuss about the jersey.. they've had same one for the last three years. Dublin bring one out every couple seasons. My only gripe with it is the stripes down the front. Takes away from the minimalist look.
