Just going back to the midfield area against Galway,we were cleaned out,but why couldn't Connelly kick short passes,every time it was straight down the middle.Think myself it will be JD and Paudie come Sunday week in the middle.Also can see leper starting Smile

I would like to see Flynn and P O'Neill start in midfield with Early being tried out there early enough in the second half also.

JD and P O'Neill just don't have the physical size to play as our intercounty midfield partnership in my view.

Tickets priced at 25 euro...very expensive in my opinion. For this economic climate and for a league final...i have paid less for championship matches in the past.. dont get me wrong I will pay it but i think its way too expensive.. Many people just cannot afford these prices and the other issue I have is that you can only buy a child ticket if an adult one is bought..I'm only 17 and I am stuck in a situation whether to pay 25 euro or try my luck with the five euro one but now I am going to have to wait until the day of the match for that.. how is a 17 year old supposed to be able to pay 25 euro?

It's very pricey and the fact it's on tg4 will take away from those who might attend.

Like cork is €60 or so return, you might get lucky and get cheaper tickets online but that's train, plus ticket nearly €100 plus drink and food!!

Mayo is slightly cheaper to get from but not by much.

Travelling from Kildare will not be as bad but it doesn't make it easier paying nearly double the price of league games. Don't know how they can justify that. Will the hill be open? To lesson the burden on some?

Big test for Kildare, I'd start with the following if all fit and healthy:
Connolly, Kelly, foley, Lyons, Mcgrillan, m. O'Flaherty bolton, Flynn, p. O'Neill, E. O'Flaherty Conway, Doyle, Smyth, O'Connor & Kavanagh.

But Kildare will have good options from the bench with Callaghan, early, maybe lynch, Flanagan, fogarty, Eoin Doyle (who looked useful).

Lads and lassies I see this every year. You are getting 2 good games for €25. Its is good value imo. I went to a meaningless (rabo direct league game that both teams put out their b teams) Munster lenister rugby game in the Aviva some months back and it was more expensive for 1 game.

referee is david coldrick. i know a lot of people think highly of him as one of the good referee's around but im not a big fan. i suppose he wasnt to bad in the first half against louth but the second half calls by him some of them were a joke. no way kildare were that cynical for the amount of frees louth got i dont know maybe sympathy frees towards the end..
i bet we wont be able to buy a free against tyrone.

You don't have to, MD. Buy a €25 ticket and go to the concession stiles (D, I think) at the back of the Cusack Stand. You will get a refund (probably €10 or €15) at the stile. Might be safe to bring I.D.

I think €25 is way to much for anybody for the league finals i don't care if its 2 games way to much, it has being said many time on here that the GAA has to look at the pricing for games they are not in the real world. I'm away next week so wont have to worry but I don't think I would of went at that price. I was thinking around €15 would be more than enough and you would get more supporters going from the 4 counties.

I don't generally worry about referees but why always from Meath ? They have not been good to us over the last few years.

€15 would be a fairer price. Anway , I expect a small crowd on sunday week.
