Yeah, remember it like yesterday. We totally collapsed. 5 points up heading to injury time then losing by a point. They walked through us twice and not a hand was put on them. We made loads of subs with a couple of mins to go instead of just seeing it out. Ryan's tenure never recovered. I often wonder how different his time would have been if we had of won that game.

| Ryaner was the Donald Trump of football bosses - no sooner had one calamity happened than we'd swiftly moved on to another. For me, the 30-point defeat to Kerry remains his masterpiece... Seriously if you actually TRIED to lose a game that heavily you'd have difficulty.
Apparently Tyrone are sticking with their patented 15-0 formation on Sunday. Seemingly Harte has been practicing with 10 lads on the goal line and the remaining five on the 14-yard line.

| Picture of Mickey Harte on front of Indo next day with the biggest grin on his face walking off the pitch Not one Kildare player even attempted to drag a Tyrone player down! | |

| Jason Ryan always insisted Kildare supporters were too demanding. I know - not wanting to be in Division 4 and getting beaten by 30 points. So demanding. | |

| I was at that Kerry debacle - was it really 30 points?, I must have kicked into trauma response mode and blocked it out, a sort of GAA version of PTSD | |

last year after Tyrone v Armagh both set fans beat each other up on train It was even before they got to Dublin on the Train the schnanigans started.

| Looking for positives from last day. We missed 6 scorable frees, 4 wide and 2 played short. 3 of our best performers left the field early, Cribben, McCormack and O'Grady. We had enough chances at the end to at least draw. We still only lost by a point! If we can keep our best players on the pitch and find a different free taker, Hyland maybe, we can win on Sunday

| Its not nice to lose matches at this level, however it is about progress and learning from mistakes, lets hope players and management start learning soon and not repeating mistakes..... | |

| To me it looked like we learned nothing in the Dublin game. Yes we had a good first half but when they got a run on us in the second half we had no idea how to get on the ball and stop the rot.
For me anyway it looked like we had at least some new ideas last week. There was a number of kick outs that obviously had being worked on in training and they worked insuring we got on the ball at least. Unfortunately our old failing in the shooting department meant we didn't make the most of the opportunities we created but at least we had something to build on.
If Ben and Mick get over their knocks and start this week along with Kelly and Brophy stupidly or not I do believe we will be close to Tyrone and have a good chance of getting points on the board.
Since Hyland went to full back I have wanted to move him cos for me he has too much to offer breaking forward from half back. Cant see this happening thou as nobody else has being given a chance there in over a year a now.
My team,
Donnellan
Kelly Hyland O'Grady
Conway Doyle O'Donoghue
Feely L.Flynn
Slattery Kelly Cribbin
McCormack D.Flynn Brophy

| As an aside from the game I have to say Tyrone fans were not a nice crew before the All Ireland semi two years ago. It was in the Clonliffe House and they were throwing digs within their own group! Even the salty locals were saying WTF?
Back to the game I think we need to show more brains and be able to show that we are learning something. Hopefully the frees from Feely were a big blip.

| Kildare CAN win this, if we don't shoot ourselves in the foot again, but even let's image we do, we need six points to survive with two home games after Sunday, Mayo 3rd last match and Galway to end, away to Kerry and Donegal, where does anyone see us picking up the 4 points? | |

| We CAN win any of the games left with the exception perhaps of Kerry who we normally sh1t ourselves against a bit like Dublin.
I wouldn't be thinking beyond Sunday's game which is huge.
Lose that and we can forget it as confidence and morale will be shot and a long trip to Donegal to come next.
Ps. I am not saying we WILL win the remaining games just that on our day we are capable. Sadly we have not been truly performing to an acceptable level since the Meath game. 6 games ago..
