| O'Carroll won't get one, Foley will. Donaghy cleaned him out in All Ireland.. | |

| dunno Tommy, Donaghy spent first 20 minutes in midfield where he was having his best game of the year. He did catch two brilliant balls when in full-forward that only yielded a point and should have yielded two goals. Cos they didn't, I don't know if that constitutes a cleaning. And even if it was, it's one game. Hasn't cost Graham Canty or Michael Shields All-Stars in the past. And people on here are reckoning it won't cost JD an All-Star, although I don't see him getting one. I'm only playing Devil's Advocate, while also recognising that most of the judges are Dublin-based. To me Foley should get one, though it may well be in the corner with McGee getting full-back. I'd say O'Carroll is in contention for the other corner but now that I think of it Marc O Se might get that.
Going back to Donaghy, I think Jack made a terrible mistake moving Donaghy back in.

| Look !!! The rest of the country can have the all the "All Stars" they want , the Dublin lads I would say have what they wanted "A Celtic Cross" and I would say are quite happy if thats all they receive in 2011 !!! I would say any inter county player would give all the All Star Awards they have received through the years for "A Celtic Cross" | |

| Vodafone Whisht with your celtic crosses we will get them someday! but you are right, anyone would love an all Ireland Medal. But an all star is a nice way to be recognised for your efforts. | |

| Dublin will probably dominate but hopefully a repeat of last years all stars will do. I think Dublin will be guaranteed at least 5, Kerry 3, donegal 3, leaving 4 places up for grabs. So to get 2 from that we'll be doing well. But I honestly I think foley should get one. He's been so consistent this year threw out the league and championship. And because of the options in midfield JD will have a good chance too man of the match in a few of our games. | |

| Martin Breheny was at yesterday's match and saw Mick Foley do what he does best and that's read a game and do the simple things right.... Hopefully another vote for him and it was good to see himself and Eamonn Callaghan named in Colm O'Rourke's team on the paper yesterday. | |

| Thought he was good yesterday, so controlled in what he did and great speech too:-) from a neutral point of view it was exciting to see some great young talent yesterday led by a county player like foley. | |

| Congrats to Mick Foley. A memorable year for him. Disappointed that JD or Bolton didn't get one. Half back line with 2 from Donegal???? Hopefully 2012 All Stars will have more Lillies on it... | |

| All star winners in our squad John Doyle Peter Kelly Mick foley Emmet Bolton gpa winner Dermot early
All star nominees Hugh mcgrillen Eamon Callaghan James kavanagh Alan smith
With mikey Conway, Tomas Connor, the flats brothers and a few new faces next year we have the look of a squad which has a tasty mix of youth, experience hunger. Quietly confident as 2012 rolls around. Cannot wait

| Ah jaysus lads we can't win them all. However, had Cassidy's kick gone a yard either side of the post, it could have been us with three awards and not Donegal.
Anyway, well done to Mick. Fully deserved and hopefully the first of many.

| That's the stuff Mick , fair play to him after years of being in and out of the team all his hard work paid off . Donegal had 3 defenders named as all stars a poor return from a team which had 14 defenders | |

| Well done Mick Foley.Absolutely deserved.
i thaught last night's progamme aws atrocious. RTE Sport ( GAA ) really needs some new faces. It is very easy to get tired of Lyster and Morrissey. Cooney and Farrell looked like two mannequins last night rented out for the hour. Appalling stuff.

Couldnt agree more, all they did was read out cards and did a few interviews, an hour show obviously limited this.
