| His cast is off about two weeks now. He was doing oxygen tent to try heal quicker.
Roli will be flat out putting muscle back on it. Will be fine come the new season.

| Fair play to Mick, great few weeks for him. WIth Peter Kelly hopefully back fully fit next year we're looking at a full back line containing two All Stars, some improvement on how things were a few years ago alright. Thought Doyle was unlucky to have missed out on one. Was a year where there were few real standout contenders in the middle and after two man of the match performances earlier in the championship he would have been in with a serious chance of one, even with an injury later on he was still very impressive for us. - town man wrote:

Sure I'd even look like a good defender if I had 12 other lads around me inside the 21 yard line. McGee to be fair had a great year as did Lacey, who was very consistent. O'Carroll being left out though was a bit of a surprise for me, thought he would have been in with a great chance of getting the full back spot with McGee being moved out to corner back.

| Well done mick, well deserved. Thought we were unlucky not to get Johnny in midfield. MDMA missed a fair chunk of the season, considering Johnny played 7 games. Also very surprised Ben brosnan didn't get one, top scorer in championship, Flynn had a couple of good games most notably against us. Like u say ifindoubt, Kelly & foley in the full back line along with McGrillan looks very strong and mcloughlin probably having a big say too, then you'll have juniors such as Fitzpatrick pushing too. Same all over the pitch really. A bit of luck with injuries and I honestly think we'll go close. Oh and some more luck on top of that | |

| Congrats Mick Foley,, totally deserved and great to see a Kildare man getting an all star, thought JD should have got one too. Hopefully this time next year we will be talking about how we only got six or seven. | |

| Delighted for Mick, well deserved. Bolton very unlucky. I don't think JD was unlucky at all, he probably deserved nomination but wasn't AS material this year in my opinion, although he never gave anything than his usual 100%, injury reduced his influence in the last couple of games.
Ben Brosnan was very unlucky, although he wasn't the leading scorer. Gooch just pipped him. thought he might get one though. But Mick was the only player outside of provincial champions to get one.

| Yes good point there Ogie. Were we the only quarter finalists to get one? Only 1 Wexford player nominated, Cork, Tyrone also didnt get any. So to expect 2 for getting to the quarters was probably a big ask. As mentioned, had we just got over the line against Donegal we would have been looking at 3 or 4. Thats the way it goes. | |

I'd agree there, Bolton would definitely have gotten one then and Johnny would have had one more chance. And Hank. And Shane Connolly. Again, delighted for Mick though. He looked destined for greatness eight years ago. He might make it yet and that was an incredibly consistent year of football from him from the league right through
