still fixed for Conleths i'm told but subject to change @ 2pm. wayne fitz out injured and adam phelan long term missing other than that i'm told all is well. any news on minor squad? is it finalised?

I heard the minor panel is and has being finalised for a while now. but yet I hear there are more trials going on at the moment?

final in 2 weeks hopefully Tommy O Connell recovers in time. word is minor squad still not finalized but the bulk of the squad are in place

Great win. Some lads playing with injuries were very brave. Wayne Fitzpatrick played the full match with a broken finger. Fair play to him, great comitment. Tommy o Connell was outstanding.
Are there many of the VC team on the minor panel lillyboy?

Kildare vec team playing Dublin on 28th in Newbridge. Very good win against a strong Meath team , Kildare will need to improve to beat Dublin saw these two teams play in first round the Dublin forwards were very good and if Kildare are missing the o Connell Chap it will be tough

Dublin are not that big of an obstacle... They have twice beaten an average Offaly team by a point. Kildare seem to be finding form at right time.

So the VS Leinster final is fixed for Newbridge. Thats good news. I wonder when we beat the dubs sunday would they go with a double header with the VS Final, followed by the O Byrne cup final.

Don't think this can happen as the winners of Kildare v Dublin are due to travel to the winners of Meath v DCU for the final.

However, if DCU beat Meath what is the situation. Do they have a venue capable of holding a decent crowd ?

Oh if thats the case if the Dubs win , it will either be in our percieved officIal home Croke Park / or Our Actual Official Home ground Parnell Park !! but that will depend a awful lot on which ever way the wind blow down here , Which in essences will determine or decided we own Croker or we dont Wink

In truth the winners of the Meath/DCU match have home adv , so it will be Navan or Parnell more than likely nominated by DCU , the winners of the Kil v Dub will be deemed the away team for the final

So Kildare v DCU is in Newbridge next sunday at 2pm. I hope they put the VS Leinster final on before it. Would be great for the players and the supporters.

Fitz will play for sure and i'd expect TOC would play on 1 leg if he had 2. Hopefully all will be ok o the day

I see our two schools were beaten in Leinster yesterday. Athy got a right mauling from Edenderry.Why is Kildare schools football so weak ?
