The amount of wides and shots that dropped short yesterday is obviously a big disappointment and against Tyrone we'd be kicking the game away with that sort of performance.

Still though, the way they handled the mini comebacks when Sligo got to within 2 or 3 was calm and measured and they seemed confident in what they were doing. Great composure towards the end as well holding onto the ball for long periods and waiting for the right opportunity before going for a score (even if a few of them didn't come off), managed to run the clock down effectively and forced Sligo to push up which left space for subs to exploit around the middle then.

You'd expect Tyrone to be favourites for the final and based on our shooting the last 2 days out it's going to be hard to get back to the scoring rates we saw earlier in the season. Still though, it's a few steps further than this age group got to at minor when they won Leinster and no mean feat making an All Ireland Final.

No official agreement regarding the venue as of yet. Sources on twitter saying there could be venue debate threatening to develop.

100 percent game should be in Croke Park.

Ah I do think Tyrone would prefer a Final in Croke Park too in fairness, now whether or not they are open to Sunday might be a different thing.

In 2018 the Final was before a Dubs Super 8 wasn't it? A triple-header would be amazing.

An AI final should be in Croke Park. A Leinster semi-final against Westmeath is only there as a warm up for the Dubs. That's the difference.

Also, as I've seen pointed out elsewhere, if Dublin had beat us in Leinster final and made AI final, their U20s would be playing Croke Park double-header with seniors.

Dublin played the 2017 and 2019 AI finals in provincial venues whereas we obviously played 2018 final in Croke Park. Not everything is a conspiracy against us.

My heart bleeds for them, having the most well-resourced underage set-up in history of GAA, endless resources and playing all their senior games at home. They should be playing far more than a couple of underage finals in provincial venues.

Something else I'd like to throw out there: have seen a lot commentary over past week about the decisive edge Bernabeu gives Real Madrid in Champions League games. I completely agree.

Here's a thought experiment for everyone: imagine Real Madrid got to play every Champions League game in the Bernabeu, along with a 200m transfer advantage on every other team each year.

Well, that's what GAA have done with Dublin over past decade.

Ideally game would form part of a triple header on Sunday. But its not all about us lads, there are 2 teams involved. Tyrone seem to want Croke Park too.

Leitrim is an absolute disaster of a place to get to, totally ill-fitting for a game of this stature.

As Rex said, not that GAA gives a toss about non-Dublin supporters.

Seeing comments online that it venue is "convenient to both Kildare and Tyrone supporters".

I don't find it convenient at all and won't be able to make game.

I can just imagine the meeting this mornin.lads kildare are not happy with cavan for sat f..k them wel push it a bit further give them leitrim and if they keep complaining push it to sligo.they can push newbridge or nowhere up their arses now.id say I'm not a million miles away on that one
