Great to be waking up this morning with a Kildare team in an All-Ireland final! Best of luck to the lads & the management team.

Best of luck to the lads. Probably the first time all year with little expectation. Hope they out and do themselves justice. I think they will. But it's just a great week to be a Kildare person.

Kicking in long range balls not working either!

Kildare played a lot of long kick passes in that first half and were causing problems but Tyrone seemed to adapt really well to it. Will be a tough second half for the lads now.

Just kicked it away really, needed more composure, Canavan is on a different level

Canavan a different class altogether. So many wides kicked from Kildare and Tyrone were clinical with their shooting

Very disappointing Kildare never gave Tyrone a game. But well done to the lillies for winning leinster and getting into an All Ireland.
Tyrone pushed up on the Kildare kickout and I felt Kildare weren't at the races and seemed tired. Hopefully they will learn from the experience and will be in future All Irelands well done lads.

Well done to the lads and all involved. It just didn't click and I'd say they are very disappointed how it ended.
But, Tyrone were better and these young lads will learn and go again.

Tyrones shooting was outstanding.

I was hopeful early on when Kildare looked very much up for it but they got sloppy and were ultimately outclassed by a better team.

Great campaign though and they deserve a lot of credit.

The absolute zag of all time on KFM - bigger even than Tommy’s on Leinster final - saying Canavan had a quiet game!! Pretty sure Ger & Phillie want a do-over on that commentary.

To the lads on the squad I would say: this stuff happens in life & I can assure you, as a Kildare diehard, you had me jumping out of my skin beating the Dubs down in Portlaoise. Keep at it & there will be more glory days.

To the troops on here: let’s beat Westmeath tomorrow & give the Dubs the fortnight from hell. Stand firm men!

Worth bearing in mind as well that while we’ve got our underage act in order over last decade, Tyrone have been doing this, putting in the painstaking graft, season after season for 30 years. And you can believe me on that - I was around when the current team’s auld lads were the hot new sensations in football. There are no shortcuts unfortunately.

Great effort last evening Tyrone the best team in the country but the tight schedule meant we didn't see the best of our players. Leinster Council with a lot to answer for. When Davy Burkes crew won the all-ireland they played 6 consecutive weeks but 3 of them were against Wicklow, Carlow and Offaly and were easy victories. Nothing easy about the route the lads had this year. Expect this time 2025, 4/5 will be on the senior match day 26.

Thanks to the players for all the effort that went into the year. I really enjoyed the wins over Offaly and Dublin and it was a good day out yesterday. Tyrone are as good a side as I’ve seen at this level and I thought we gave a battling performance even though a lot of things went wrong for us. Cill Dara Abu.

No complaints. No Kildare team has ever overachieved as much. Beaten by far better side.

Ah yeah over achievers is right. Beat the All Ireland Champions on their own ground, beat Dublin in a final, beat the Connacht Champions with ease all while playing week after week.

I wish all Kildare teams overachieved as much as these lads.

You don't help yourself Tommy with backhand compliments like that about your own County.

Disappointing end to a very enjoyable few weeks following this team. Some really good individual performances along the way and with a large chunk of yesterdays squad still underage it bodes well for next year as well.

Beaten by a good Tyrone team with a very strong and disciplined full back line and one of the classiest underage players in the country in Ruairí Canavan.

The message from the current management team is similar to previous, it's all about developing lads for senior intercounty football. Winning Leinster again with this age group and going a few steps further by making the All Ireland was a good sign of progress so hopefully we see that continue with some of them involved in the O'Byrne Cup and league next year now too.

No comparison, davys team was a lot better imo. Had tough route themselves Dublin, Kerry and a strong Mayo team in the final is nothing to be sniffed at. Alot of lads eligible again next year which they will learn a lot from. Great year, enjoy your weekend boys.

Super effort from the lads yesterday. Tyrone were just the better team but Kildare never gave up. Great attitude. Great Kildare support there yesterday. I was loving the Kildare ultras behind the goals.
