Well done to the lads in giving us a great few weeks .the effort and 100% commitment put in by everyone was brilliant to see and enjoy.overachieved? I dont think so just a dedicated bunch that gave their all

Don't think you can say much about the game other than we were beaten by the better team. Fair play to the whole team, Tyrone had the game won but the all kept plugging away. Thought Killian's determination right to the final whistle was something else.

Fair play to the lads, the turnover from the minor team 3 years ago was huge, which shows the effort the management team put in and can't be faulted for effort. As has been said, on the day we were beaten by the better team and some days you just have to take it on the chin. the period just before half time was the killer.
Hopefully the management team stay involved, when you look at the pipeline of players coming through we have to maintain standards that are being set and to see so many ex players standing up and setting new standards it has to be positive for Kildare.
The vibes about what is happening in Hawkfield over the last few months is great to hear and there are new standards and expectations been set.
As has been said well done to the players and management, hopfully they enjoyed their few days and look forward to seeing the development continue.
