| No point in having a big panel if you keep picking the same 15 players every game. Dowling and Kelly look to be seriously talented players who deserve their chance. Kavanagh and Smith have been brilliant for kildare in the past but are not scoring enough this year. They havent been discarded and will get their chance again, maybe on saturday. The most important thing is for thousands of kildare supporters to outnumber laois on saturday and make it look like a home game for kildare. These lads deserve our support. | |

John Crofton had him full-forward so that's where the five years comes from. Might even be six - and to be fair CB, you're being fairly selective, because he played full-forward for the seniors last year before doing his knee. He's not a scorer, he's a brilliant man to fetch a ball - the delivery must be right, not a hoof, and the supporters must be clever with their runs around the front for the pop or the break

| Lads just heard the Laois Fleadh Ceoil is on in Portlaois today, be very hard to get parking for anybody who's going to be driving down. Best bet for anybody heading down on the M7 is to take the exit for Maldron Hotel (exit 17 I think) and head into the town on the Abbeyleix road. | |

| Great performance and a great all round team display, Geezer got the tactics spot on and brilliant to see Conway back in action at senior level..... and the response that was needed from Kavanagh off the bench and O'Connor and Dowling getting their start..... roll on round 3!! | |

| Great performance! O'Connor was brilliant, i think tonight he proved he deserves his starting place on that team, same with Kavanagh. Great to see Conway back too. Roll on the next match! | |

| great second half performance and a great response from the dubs game from everyone involved. o'connor was immense and staked his claim. mick foley was also in flying form. then the second half hugh lynch and paudi really came to the fore. overall an excellent display. delighted geezer didnt do the knee jerk reaction after fionn took a few wild shots. he was showing very well all day and the point will give him confidence. kavanagh also proved his point. and hearing lynch afterwards he said how daryl is chompin at the bit to get back in as is smithy. when u look at our bench today you had proven championship men there like jimmers, smithy, conway, flanno and sweeney. that's a plus in itself. ollie lyons also did well and grew into the game. still we NEED to get the first quarter going as the slow start will eff us up later in the year. still no point looking into the negatives as it was a great day. | |

| Congrats on a great win this evening and a brilliant turn out by Kildare supporters at the game,, seemed like we outnumbered the laois crowd in their home ground. | |

| Very positive second half but I have no doubt there will be changes for whoever we play the next day. McLaughlin in the corner most under threat as he gives away silly frees at crucial times. My man of the match would have been Leper. He won a serious amount of breaking ball and distribution was A1.

| 15 point win and some people still aren't happy. That full back line is playing out of their collective skins and only a fool would change it. Foley is having some season. | |

agree whole hearted best in the country at the moment P Kelly would be hard pressed to get in there at the moment Foley will at least get an all star nomination at this rate though JD was great again he gets some battering but still gets on with it - well done Hughie well deserved and will now shut up the doubters
