| I'd definitely give Fogarty and Moolick another go as I think we're short of options in midfield and the full-forward line and I think they can improve. | |

| If Hurley goes to OZ and god forbid flynn got injured (highly likely with no winter break) what are the options for midfield?? | |

| Midfield would be a real problem for us if Daryl and Sean Hurley are both unavailable. We had Johnny and Padraig O'Neill playing there against Dublin in the league and it was always going to be a struggle for them. Maybe Tommy Moolick could develop if he got a run of games there in the league? Hugh Lynch never really looked convincing and I think Chalky would be more suited to the half-backs. Kevin Feeley and Dan Flynn are obviously huge losses for us in this area. Dublin have gone for more mobile midfielders in the last year but nobody stands out for me as being able to do a similar job for us.
I think it's vital Daryl stays fit for us this year and I think he was getting back to close to his best when the Moores played Athy a few weeks ago.

| These trials indicate that Ryan is putting his own stamp on the team, and they may unearth new squad members for a style of playing that may require certain type of players.. He said on KFM that a new manager will always bring a fresh approach and new ideas. | |

| I think the likes of Tyrell, Tiernan, ,Murnaghan who were all consistent performers in the senior championship this year deserve there go in there. The kildare championship is very competitive and for them to perform consistently throughout can only be a good sign. Athyman is O'Keeffe primarily a midfielder with Athy and was he just used as a wing forward to be a 3rd option around the middle? | |

| Tommy Mo can be a success at inter county level, just turned 21, young for a midfielder. Also Hugh Lynch has a part to play. The 2 boys (and prob a lot of the extended squad) need to be playing games regularly. Hopefully Jason Ryan will let the boys play some league games with their clubs throughout the national league. | |

| I think it would be great to see the county lads playing a few more games with the clubs especially the lads not playing regularly.

| liullie 2k13 to answer your question about O Keeffe I need to set the record straight about his form, I have stats on all of the Athy players, in 2011 he was in the states for the summer and came back a week before the quarter final against the sash,he came on with 15 mins to go and scored 2 long range points and made a 40m solo run and was eventually pulled down by 3 defenders in the penalty area, peno given eaton failed to convert, in the semi final against Larries he was poor but won 3 freees which were converted, against Carbury in the final on for the last 8 minutes. In the first round of Leinster Athy losing by a point with 5 mins to go he was put on as full forward high ball in which he won turned swivelled and scored a wonderful goal , came on with 10 mins to go against Garrycastle took on 3 backs left them for dead shot against bar eaton converted from 2 yards. 2012 season scored 14 points in his last 4 league appearances decent form in 2012. 2013 season poor form mainly due to ankle ligament trouble.
He has operated for the club as a midfielder, wing forward, full forward.

| the lonergan from Moorefield impress me everytime I see them, often better than the county players on show, Im sure there will be a lot more trial matches ahead. some of the current lads on the panel need to get there head out of there backsides | |

| The conditions were fairly bad so was hard for lads to stand out. Conor Canning, Moolick, Mulhall, Hugh Mahon and Podge Fogarty played well. | |
