I don't think it will be able to hold a night game either. Would be nice to have the game at home, but I can't see that happening. I was out watching the lads training the other night and they looked fit and sharp. Still very surprised O'Shea was dropped... There must be a reason behind this because he is a very good defender and footballer. And in saying that this team isn't blessed with wonderful derfender surely there is better around the county any good young defender from Sarsfield Laurences or Moorefield because they have very few representative in the panel so I hear?? Is Ray Cahill not on the panel didn't see him the other night, good score getter and played well in the u21 championship. Will be a difficult to pick the forwards, I think it will be something like Moolick Reynolds Heavey Mulhall (if fit) Dowling Mcgovern. Very young full forward line but all natural scorers. Dont have a clue what the backs will be like But i'd say Campbell from Sarsfields and B Kinahan from Athy will be the best of that bunch.

It is ridiculous to ask Kildare fans to travel to Wexford park on a Wednesday evening.
I hope common sense prevails - but sadly I have my doubts. No more or less ridiculous than asking Wexford fans to travel to Newbridge on a Wednesday evening surely?

| Louth game was in Enniscorthy - I'd settle for that.
Might not be ridiculous to some - but a night match in Wexford Park for those of us who work in Dublin is very difficult to get to.
Ogie - your right asking Wexford fans to travel to Newbridge is as ridiculous - it just shows how little regard the authorities have for fans.
Also Ogie Newbridge does not have floodlights so that would make travelling to Conleths on a Wednesday night in March even more ridiculous.

| Athy in my opinion would be ideal.
Only an hour from Enniscorthy. |

If Wexford are drawn at home, they're drawn at home and if you're in Dublin it's unlikely you're going to make it. That would mean one less supporter for Kildare. And it will mean of course that a lot of Kildare supporters won't make it. That's why they call it home advantage.

Would you not bring you kildare gear to work ,then head down the M11 you would get to the heart of wexford within a 1 hour 20mins, if you got away before 6 pm , you would easily make it , grand motorway Would love to see the U/21 kildare lads win this out right , I know a few club mates who are on the panel , trained them within the club , would be very please to see them get there just reward , genuine lads , and as my second fav team now the u/21 dubs gone.

| All the U21 games played at home this year are being played in Athy because as already pointed out Newbridge has no lights but first we need to beat Wexford no matter where the game is. | |

| If this team has any hope at all, judging from their performance at minor, they will be depending on the likes of moolick, dowling and other young lads to pull dem through. | |

| Meath should be hot favourites for this championship as they were the leinster champs at this age and knocked out a very well fancied dublin side with many star names...! Our odds at 13/8= WAY overrated...! | |

I suppose it reflects our side of the draw i.e. beat wexford and carlow and we're in a leinster final. Whereas meath have to play westmeath in there next match. I won't b takin a punt either but considering the talented minors we've had the last 2 years and our draw we're in wit a gr8 shout...

| Wexford U21 manager Kevin Kehoe has named an unchanged side for Wednesday night's Leinster FC quarter-final meeting with Kildare.
Kehoe's side put in an impressive display to get the better of Louth two weeks ago and they will again hope to make home advantage count when the Lilywhites travel to Bellefield, Enniscorthy for Wednesday's game.
Midfielder Michael O'Regan and corner forward Kevin O'Grady were the scorers-in-chief in the first round with 0-11 between them and they will carry the scoring burden once again, while James Breen will captain the side from centre back. The manager's son Cillian lines out at full-forward.
The game will have a bit of added spice between the management teams. In 1989, Wexford manager Kevin Kehoe trained the Patrician Secondary Newbridge Senior Football Team, containing Anthony Rainbow, to an All-Ireland B School's title.
Throw-in at Bellefield, Enniscorthy is at 7.30pm.
Wexford (U21FC v Kildare): R Farrell; M Furlong, S Gaul, C Carty; D Butler, J Breen, L Óg McGovern; M O'Hanlon, M O'Regan; D Murphy, E Kent, P Kelly; K O'Grady, C Kehoe, B Halpin.
