| There are no guarantees with any team but if this side doesn't bring home a Leinster title at least I'd be very disappointed. The quality of forwards there is something else | |

| no not implying that dowling does just dont like the style of playing fast lads on the wing just cause there fast. i suppose ya dont really get too many slow lads at county level taibi so i`m wrong to say slow i meant to say is the number one attribute i look for in my half forward line is vision | |

| When this team was at minor they performed badly so to say they should win a leinster is a bit much. The older lads on the panel would have been involved in some of those minor teams that didnt win championship games for a number of years. Looking at some of the teams people are puttin up there only seems ta be a few elder statesmen. Kinahan,Campbell and Co. In saying that though with the experience the younger lads on the panel have of playing in big games they do have a chance. They are likely to be a young team with many underage next year like mulhall, reynolds,o shea etc and others for two years like dowling and moolick and hurley etc. Other counties are likely to have a older dynamic. I can see us winning a provincial at this level in years ta come and push on (my guess would be next year) but not too sure about this year. I hope i'm wrong. | |

| The bulk of the team will probably be only 19/20 but looking at the draw, a Leinster Final is a realistic goal.
I'm surprised very few are picking Danny Egan on their teams. I'd have assumed he'd be a shoe in.

| Stephen McKeon played at corner-back for Waterford IT against Cork in the McGrath Cup last weekend. He is also on the college's hurling panel. Plays his club hurling with Broadford and football with Johnstownbridge. | |

| have to agree whitestar, well over the top these comments are, this young man is only on his way back from injury and needs encouragement and should be complimented for making u-21 panel. our club would be glad to take him if he's looking for a transfer.... | |

| the lads played meath in two matches yesterday.. one win and one draw. not bad considering meath won the leinster at this age in 2008.
heard mulhall broke his chestbone or ribs or somewhere in that region, anybody hear anything about that? be a while before he's back if its true. also heard plunket and brian kinahan only got half hour each out of both matches. are they carrying injuries because its a bit odd bringin them to meath for the day for half hour of football?

| few shocks in the cuts, young blanchfield looked strong when he came on scoring 4or 5 points last nit. maybe barry will regret that decision. always a big call cutting a proven scorer | |

| any word on the other cuts. Bit surprised of blanchfield being cut but with the calibre of forwards available to barry rainbow and eddie its not as big as of a shock i dont think. | |

| What a pity. He's a real lazy style of play but he reads the game brilliant. Hopefully he'll bounce back to full fitness. The Larks will miss him. | |

| Class player! Huge loss. Hopefully he'll be able to recover properly from it. On the 21s that were cut i heard aswell as blanchfield, james fahy from laurences and konstantine from celbridge. I think there might of been 1 or 2 more as well. | |
